About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the client’s representative on site and provide general oversight of the work
Verify daily compliance of the work with the plans, specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements
Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Monitor work progress and report deviations or issues affecting costs, schedule, or quality
Supervise and coordinate the other site supervisors assigned to the project
Maintain a constant presence and ensure effective coordination of site supervision activities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site supervision reports
Document completed work and significant events occurring on site
Identify and document non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions
Monitor testing, inspections, and quality control activities carried out on site
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of site activities
Perform other related duties associated with site supervision, coordination, and site administration

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision
Significant experience as a senior site supervisor on major infrastructure projects
Experience carrying out or supervising marine works
Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate a site supervision team
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent organizational, attention-to-detail, and follow-up skills
Ability to quickly identify issues and follow up with the relevant stakeholders
High degree of autonomy and sound professional judgment
Availability to work on a rotational schedule while living on site in the Magdalen Islands for the entire duration of the project
