About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to transform, process, and ingest wind measurement and master data from multiple sources and formats
  • Develop and optimize data models and schemas for storing and retrieving structured and unstructured data
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure issues
  • Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 8–10+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar data-intensive role
  • Proficient knowledge in ETL, Data Lake, and data warehousing
  • Proficient knowledge/skills in SQL and relational databases, preferably SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS (OLAP Cubes), and ADF
  • Good programming skills in R, Python, Scala, and Databricks, including Spark, Delta Tables, and Unity Catalog
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows, preferably Azure DevOps and Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Wind industry or renewable energy experience is an added advantage
  • Good stakeholder management and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
