About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 specialists
  • Take full accountability for all outbound logistics services in China, focusing on HSE, quality, time, and cost
  • Develop and drive cost-reduction initiatives
  • Design and optimize domestic trucking and port-handling networks across key Chinese regions
  • Select, onboard, and manage local, regional, and national trucking providers
  • Develop and benchmark port strategies
  • Conduct lessons learned and implement corrective actions with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers
  • Maintain competitive benchmarking of trucking costs and service performance
  • Oversee the design, manufacturing, and certification of tooling with Chinese suppliers
  • Ensure proper equipment homologation and preventive maintenance
  • Define, plan, and coordinate transport-equipment availability with Global Tooling
  • Coordinate reverse logistics for efficient equipment recovery and redistribution
  • Strengthen the logistics organization in China

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar
  • Strong personality, used to work in international, virtual teams
  • At least 10 years of work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a similar management position
