About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced remote support during commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting of wind farm control systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex control, communication, and integration issues across global wind farm sites
- Reproduce field issues in the lab to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support site and commissioning teams by guiding them through technical challenges
- Validate control behavior during remote testing to meet grid code and customer requirements
- Monitor fleet-wide performance and contribute to continuous operational improvements
- Deliver third-level expert support and coordinate escalations with the development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions and improve product reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications
- Experience in PLC Programming in IEC 61131, preferably in ST language
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, specifically Profinet
- Very good written and spoken English
- Minimum 3+ years of work experience in a similar role
