About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and update packaging, handling, and transport products and processes
- Manage development and validation of transport tooling with external suppliers
- Prepare technical documentation, including Transport Instructions, SOPs, and work instructions
- Create and maintain BoMs and related documentation in SAP/TeamCenter
- Analyze deviations and resolve technical queries from operations, engineering, and logistics
- Support continuous improvement and documentation reviews
- Travel to manufacturing plants, ports, and sites approximately 15% of the time
- Define and improve logistics processes and specifications
- Design and validate storage, handling, and transportation tools for Nordex turbines
- Translate logistics and factory lessons learned into engineering requirements supporting wind turbine design improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in engineering and development of logistics equipment
- Knowledge of CAD/PLM systems and processes, including Teamcenter, Windchill, Creo View, AutoCAD, and Teamcenter Visualization
- Experience with FEM, ERP systems, and SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and MS Project
- English C1 required
- Spanish C1 required
- German B2 preferred
