About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Italian business
- Assume full responsibility for the country's P&L and business performance
- Coordinate commercial, project management and service activities
- Drive business growth through stakeholder relationships, customer negotiations and sales support
- Collaborate with Service and Project Management leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and operational performance
- Represent the Italian organization toward regional and global headquarters
- Implement Group policies, governance procedures and compliance standards
- Monitor business KPIs and define corrective actions
- Lead and motivate employees across the country toward the Nordex Group mission
- Act as legal representative where required
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment regulations, including Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as Managing Director, Country Manager, General Manager, CEO or equivalent leadership role
- Experience managing a full P&L and leading multi-functional organizations
- Demonstrated success in business development, commercial leadership and customer engagement
- Experience operating within international and matrix organizations
- Strong understanding of operational and service-oriented business models
- Experience in technology, industrial services, technical solutions, engineering, energy, infrastructure, equipment, industrial distribution or comparable sectors
- Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and evolving environments
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory)
- Degree in Eng./Sales/Economics
- Availability to travel across Italy and internationally when required
