About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the development, configuration, and stable operation of the PLM infrastructure in alignment with the overall system architecture
Contribute to the conceptualization, detailed design, and implementation of PLM solutions in Siemens Teamcenter based on business requirements and architectural guidelines
Take responsibility for technical delivery within projects of varying complexity in a fast-developing environment
Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams to ensure successful PLM implementations
Participate in post-go-live stabilization, continuous improvement, and administration of the Teamcenter landscape
Work closely with the Senior Expert System Architect to align solution designs, implementation decisions, and long-term evolution of the Teamcenter landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
A strong technical mindset and experience in software-oriented or system-oriented roles
Hands-on experience in programming or scripting (e.g. Java, Python, or similar)
Exposure to complex IT environments; experience with servers or databases is an advantage
A proactive, structured working style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience turning technical concepts into implemented, testable, and supportable solutions in an enterprise IT or PLM environment
Very good communication skills and confidence working with international teams
Fluent English
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter in engineering or enterprise environments is advantageous
Experience with Teamcenter installation or deployment tools, such as TEM, Deployment Center, or MS Intune, is advantageous
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics is advantageous
Knowledge of the Teamcenter data model and BMIDE is advantageous
Experience with integrations, such as Active Integration Gateway or interfaces to SAP, is advantageous
Experience in renewable energy or similar industrial sectors is advantageous
Interest or first hands-on experience in applying AI or data-driven approaches in engineering or PLM-related contexts is advantageous
