About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Special Projects within the Service Operations area, including blade inspections/repairs, retrofit campaigns, and large component repair campaigns
Assist in executing special projects within the Services department
Maintain project schedules and comply with defined schedules
Schedule inspection campaigns and process findings
Coordinate blade and large component repair campaigns based on findings
Perform quality control audits
Assist with project cost management, including monitoring and validating contractor timesheets
Coordinate and supervise manpower and resources on-site
Communicate project status to management to facilitate customer communications
Generate and present periodic reports to management
Coordinate and implement technical retrofit solutions with Engineering and Technical Services
Follow standard Nordex Project Management processes
Perform operational and departmental tasks and other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree in technical or engineering field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered instead of a degree
PMP certification desirable
Minimum of 2-3 years in project management, project lead, or other management capacities, especially within the renewable energy or construction industry preferred
Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company auto insurance policy
Must be committed to maintaining and promoting safety standards
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
Ability to properly use applicable safety equipment
Fluent spoken and understood English required
