About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate multiple wind turbine tower development projects
  • Ensure compliance with budget, timeline, and quality targets
  • Manage the complete product development process from concept and design through prototyping, testing, certification, and serial production
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineering teams
  • Coordinate prototype testing, validation, and certification activities
  • Align project scope, milestones, and schedules with other Project Managers and the Platform Lifecycle Management organization
  • Act as the key interface for stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, and other global functions
  • Identify project risks and define mitigation actions
  • Provide transparent progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support the development and industrialization of wind turbine tower solutions for global markets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience managing complex technical development projects, ideally within the wind energy industry
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, tower systems, or comparable large-scale industrial products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project Server
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems advantageous
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Additional fluency in German advantageous
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
