About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, analyze, and coordinate production planning, material management, plant warehouse, and logistics platform areas
- Ensure departmental KPIs are consistently achieved
- Manage and organize supply and logistics work for materials and finished goods until storage area
- Manage staff, equipment, and resources within a given budget
- Plan and coordinate demand, supplier delivery schedules, inventory, and production planning
- Ensure reliable material availability, mitigate potential shortages, and maintain consistent material flow
- Oversee warehousing, distribution, and transportation for inbound logistics
- Coordinate with departments to guarantee supplies on time and in full and ensure operational alignment
- Ensure adherence to efficient processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and maintain standards and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and manage international supply chains
- Report to the Plant Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in an international Supply Chain position
- Bachelor's degree Preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering, or advanced education such as an MBA or APICS certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to complex situations
- Ability to travel to domestic and international locations, with the ability to obtain a passport
- Must possess a full valid driver's license and be insurable under the company's auto insurance policy
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Must ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Must proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Must properly use applicable safety equipment
- Must speak and understand English fluently
