About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical responsibility for and active involvement in migrating our SAP systems to the cloud via SAP RISE
Installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager, and BusinessObjects
Planning and execution of patch and upgrade management, system updates, and service pack installations
Conducting performance analyses, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization measures
Establishing, maintaining, and further developing an SAP monitoring system, including job and IDoc monitoring, automation, and queues
Managing SAP authorization roles in compliance with company policies
Supporting system and client copies, migrations, and backup and recovery processes
Providing technical support for additional SAP projects and working closely with business departments
Documenting systems, processes, and technical procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed IT training, such as an IT specialist qualification, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration is an advantage
Experience with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools, and performance optimization
Knowledge of authorization management; experience with Xiting is desirable
Strong problem-solving skills, a team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills
Structured and reliable approach to work, with a willingness to learn new technologies
Good written and spoken German
English language skills are an advantage
