About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage the end-to-end execution of a robust insights ecosystem, including qualitative and quantitative research, syndicated data, social listening, Usage & Attitudes studies, and consumer segmentation
  • Track wellness behaviors, occasion-based triggers, and unmet consumer needs
  • Translate raw data and research findings into actionable business strategies, brand positioning refinements, and innovation concepts
  • Manage external insight agencies, research vendors, and platform relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high strategic standard
  • Identify white-space opportunities across categories, formats, benefits, life stages, and channels
  • Support cross-functional innovation steering processes and ideation workshops with consumer data and guardrails
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Product Development/R&D, Sales, E-Commerce, and Operations to advance new product concepts through the development funnel
  • Design, execute, and analyze concept tests, pricing studies, volumetric forecasting, and market research
  • Develop in-market pilot testing and rapid A/B learning frameworks with Retail, Performance Marketing, and E-Commerce teams
  • Lead post-launch learning loops by synthesizing consumer feedback and reviews to optimize offerings and inform pipeline decisions
  • Serve as a strategic insights partner to omnichannel teams including DTC, Amazon, Retail, Professional, and International
  • Create visual, digestible, and impactful presentations for stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Foster a culture of consumer-centricity across internal departments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or Brand Strategy, specifically within the CPG, wellness, food & beverage, or dietary supplement categories
  • Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including focus groups, ethnographies, survey design, conjoint analysis, and data syndication tools such as IRI/Nielsen/SPINS
  • Strong understanding of consumer journeys across omnichannel environments, including Amazon, DTC, traditional retail, and professional channels
  • Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to blend creative thinking with data-driven commercial rigor
  • Proven track record of partnering with and influencing cross-functional Product, Marketing, and Sales teams without direct authority
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Analytics, or an MBA highly preferred
