About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and maintain a safety-first culture across the portfolio
Drive safe work practices, timely training, best practices, rewards, and recognition
Promote safety culture among subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors
Manage the performance of technicians, vendors, and suppliers across multiple locations
Maintain and repair equipment and facility systems
Build relationships with site leads, regional leadership, and business partners
Uphold contract terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure customer satisfaction in Facility Management service delivery
Ensure completion of planned and scheduled preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
Coordinate Facility Management activities with site occupants and property management/landlords
Develop and implement SOPs and preventive maintenance schedules
Respond to emergency calls as necessary
Apply technical knowledge of HVAC, vertical transportation, restaurants, entry/signs, security, fire alarm, MEP, and other building elements
Help leadership drive volume and achieve operational goals, including store sales volume and fulfillment delivery timeliness and accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred
Proven track record of success in Facilities Management
Solid knowledge of building/mechanical and electrical systems (MEP)
Experience using CMMS systems and reporting, including planning, scheduling, and workstream analysis
Ability to build strong relationships with customers, peers, and senior leadership
Experience managing remote teams and third-party contracted services
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including complex issues involving multiple entities
Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
Six Sigma, Lean, TPC, or other operational excellence methodology certifications are a plus
