About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the development of private-label products within the assigned category
  • Own product development, including cost negotiations, sample tracking and review, and time and actions from concept through adoption
  • Support development of products meeting cost, quality, and brand standards under Senior Product Developer guidance
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate tech packs in the PLM system
  • Communicate with global vendors to negotiate costing, minimums, and time and action tracking throughout the product lifecycle
  • Track product development milestones and calendar deliverables
  • Place developed and adopted styles in alignment with the Sourcing Strategy
  • Review garment and fabric test results and escalate issues as needed
  • Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to discuss open and pending issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, design, production, or a related role in garment manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Experience with Flex PLM (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
