About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain visual and physical raw material references with complete and current information
- Intake, organize and purge the raw material library
- Prepare shipping documentation and packages; collect and distribute mail; track packages
- Assist with organizing boards, preparing presentations/reports, and gathering data as needed
- Maintain physical display of strategically positioned materials
- Assist coordinating on-site visits and onboarding suppliers
- Assist the Raw Material Team with development and tracking of raw materials serving brand and business needs
- Adhere to sourcing strategies and Nordstrom requirements and meet product development calendar expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in apparel textile industry (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Textile Design in progress or completed (preferred)
- Experience with Flex PLM (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of raw material types and how they are used in apparel design and development
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
