About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise customers on pieces that complement their style and add value to their wardrobe
Build customer connections through in-store interactions and digital tools, including text, social media, and Nordstrom apps
Share curated looks and keep customers engaged
Grow sales through outreach and appointment-setting during event and non-event periods
Follow up after purchases, share new arrivals, invite customers to events, and introduce them to the Nordy Club
Collaborate with others to maintain a clean, organized, welcoming space
Sell across all departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comfortable selling across departments and price points
Styling and wardrobe knowledge, including ability to organize, follow up, and advise on pieces to complete a look
Entrepreneurial mindset for building a personal business through appointments, networking, and digital selling
Strong communication skills
Motivation to achieve sales targets
Eagerness to leverage social media and tech tools
Multitasking and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
Availability for evenings and weekends as business needs require
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head
Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
