About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full lifecycle of large, complex, or multi-site Supply Chain construction projects from scoping and budgeting through bid, construction, and closeout
- Lead design development and value engineering across concurrent projects
- Oversee construction from bid through closeout
- Select and manage general contractors and trades
- Coordinate with jurisdictions and Supply Chain site teams
- Ensure delivery meets time, cost, safety, quality, and program expectations
- Serve as primary point of contact for Supply Chain Operations, Real Estate, Legal, and Finance partners
- Support contract execution and compliance, including change orders, payments, and closeout documentation
- Represent Design & Construction in cross-functional network planning discussions
- Provide construction feasibility and cost input for site selection and network strategy
- Act as a technical escalation point for less experienced Construction Project Managers
- Drive continuous improvement of Design & Construction processes, tools, and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of construction project management experience
- On-site execution of industrial, warehouse, distribution, or logistics facility projects
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in estimating, contracts, site operations, and safety within operating industrial/logistics environments
- Track record of independently leading complex projects, including multi-site, high-budget, or high-ambiguity projects
- Experience mentoring less experienced team members
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to interpret contract documents and MEP systems
- Ability to build trust across multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders
- Forward-thinking, quality-driven, continuous-improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Coupa, AutoCAD, and scheduling software
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
