Key responsibilities & impact

Help the team grow through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and leading technical sessions
Ensure best practices in code reviews, testing, quality, security, and maintainability
Resolve complex technical challenges and guide the team toward appropriate solutions
Contribute to architecture and technical decisions by constructively challenging proposed solutions
Modernize the technology stack and support the evolution of Java and Spring
Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into solutions
Foster a strong technical culture through communities, meetups, tech talks, and knowledge sharing
Use AI for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and analysis
Identify relevant AI use cases while ensuring quality, security, and confidentiality
Provide the team with a strong technical framework while encouraging growth, initiative, and new ideas

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 6 years of experience in Java development
Strong proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot
Progressive experience serving as a technical lead or subject-matter expert for teams
Ability to share knowledge, communicate effectively, and help a team move forward
Proficiency in Java 21–25
Experience with REST APIs and distributed architectures / microservices
Knowledge of Angular, React, or Vue.js
Proficiency in Git / GitLab CI and CI/CD practices
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
Knowledge of Docker and cloud environments, depending on the project
Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
Ability to think technically, challenge solutions, explain decisions, and bring others together
