About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and development environments
- Integrate automated security controls into build, test, release, and deployment workflows
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and secure, repeatable deployment patterns
- Manage secrets, certificates, credentials, and access controls across environments
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and related security tooling
- Support software supply-chain security, SBOM generation, and provenance controls
- Harden operating systems, containers, orchestration platforms, and cloud services
- Prepare technical sections for R&D deliverables and security documentation
- Deliver secure and automated development, test, and deployment pipelines
- Produce infrastructure-as-code, hardening baselines, and operational documentation
- Produce automated security checks, vulnerability reports, and SBOMs
- Contribute to R&D project deliverables and integration reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or cybersecurity engineering
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, containers, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience integrating security tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, or vulnerability management
- Understanding of Linux, networking, identity and access management, and system hardening
- Experience with cloud, hybrid, on-premises, or isolated development environments
- Willingness to complete a government security clearance process
- Relevant cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, or security certifications are a plus
