About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take over and maintain an existing Django application, building on knowledge shared during transition
Investigate and fix bugs and contribute to ongoing application maintenance
Design and develop new features within the existing application
Review code with the team and deliver clear, maintainable, appropriate changes
Use AI tools to support onboarding, code review, and development while keeping generated code focused and reviewable
Participate in Nortal’s Technical Interviewer Program by conducting technical interviews for Nortal accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Senior-level experience or above, with a high degree of autonomy
Strong, hands-on Django experience is required
Availability to work full time, eight hours per day, during European working hours
Thoughtful approach to AI-assisted development
Advanced English is required; effective communication in English is essential for working with US clients
