About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a bridge between E-ISAC business stakeholders and the Data Analytics team
Partner with stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, reporting, and data requirements
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications
Conduct exploratory analysis to assess performance, identify trends and issues, and support decision-making
Define and maintain KPIs, metrics, business rules, and reporting requirements
Evaluate current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, effectiveness, and improved user experience
Support business cases and cost-benefit analyses and assess risks and impacts of proposed solutions
Facilitate requirements discussions, solution demonstrations, stakeholder reviews, and feedback sessions
Support prioritization and delivery of analytics and technology solutions
Identify data-quality and reporting gaps, monitor implemented solutions, gather feedback, and recommend enhancements
Maintain requirements, process documentation, decision logs, and project artifacts
Communicate analytical findings, recommendations, business impacts, and project updates to technical and non-technical audiences
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting business and technology initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in system analysis, business, computer science, information systems, or equivalent degree
Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions with diverse stakeholder groups
Experience translating business needs into user stories, process flows, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently analyze data using SQL to identify trends, validate requirements, investigate business issues, and support KPI development
Ability to work independently and collaboratively and support multiple assignments concurrently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
Background check prior to employment
Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data, AI, and machine learning services or similar cloud-based analytics platforms
Experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies, including prompt engineering, model training and tuning, and large language models (LLMs)
