About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn POS systems through a comprehensive training program
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues remotely and on-site
- Install and deploy retail systems
- Travel to client sites using a company vehicle
- Provide hands-on, on-site support for grocery, hospitality, convenience, and restaurant businesses
- Lead installation projects from delivery through documentation
- Maintain critical inventory systems
- Support checkout lanes, payment systems, and restaurant and convenience store technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on computer and technology experience
- Experience or familiarity with IT, networking, Wi-Fi, computer hardware, and basic technical troubleshooting is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Self-motivated problem-solver able to troubleshoot issues independently
- Understanding of basic networking concepts, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, switches, and connectivity issues
- Comfortable providing hands-on technical support at client locations
