About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a customer-facing technical advisor and champion GenAI and agentic solutions across IL2–IL7 environments
Guide customers through secure, cloud-agnostic architectures
Define and design solutions leveraging AWS and Azure GenAI services
Lead technical workshops and demonstrations for customers
Contribute to best practices and reference architectures for GenAI in the DoD
Stay current with GenAI, multi-agent systems, and aerospace-focused AI advancements
Collaborate with North Wind digital engineering, data science, IT, infrastructure, cross-functional teams, and customers
Architect solutions using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker Studio, Amazon Titan Embeddings, Azure AI Studio, and Azure AI Foundry
Support secure cloud infrastructure development and deployments
Translate defense mission and technical requirements into scalable, production-ready architectures
Accelerate DoD customers’ adoption of generative and agentic AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience architecting and deploying cloud-based solutions
3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning technologies and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MLFlow
Strong foundation in cloud-native architecture, deep learning, and Generative AI
Hands-on experience designing and deploying secure solutions across IL2–IL7 environments
Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, especially IL4–7 and CMMC 2.0
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
Preferred: expertise with AWS and Azure AI services
Preferred: proficiency developing agentic and multi-agent systems
Preferred: experience developing and training Generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models
Preferred: experience with Amazon SageMaker Studio and AWS machine learning services
Preferred: experience with Azure AI Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data lake, data pipeline, and MLOps services
Preferred: expertise with reduced-order models, physics-informed neural networks, or advanced deep learning techniques for aerospace or defense engineering
Preferred: experience working in the DoD or public sector
Preferred: active security clearance such as Secret or Top Secret
Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification
Preferred: secure DevSecOps, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code experience
Preferred: ability to lead technical workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption of GenAI practices
