About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical and administrative support for Northbridge’s reinsurance governance structure
  • Prepare reports for senior management
  • Work closely with all departments to collect required data
  • Support reinsurance strategy and administration capabilities within capital management and Corporate Governance processes
  • Analyze contract language and identify issues
  • Review contract documents for accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong command of data management tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze contract language and identify issues
  • Strong financial acumen and good business judgment
  • Exceptional understanding and accuracy in reviewing contract documents
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and deliver results according to deadlines
  • Post-secondary education, working towards a technical finance or business designation
  • 2–5 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Property and casualty insurance industry experience is an asset
  • Prior reinsurance experience is an asset
  • Completion of Insurance Institute courses, including CIP, is an asset
