About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate care for patients and their families
  • Provide direct patient care, patient and family education, and discharge planning
  • Assess patients and gather relevant health information
  • Identify outcomes, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions
  • Evaluate patient progress and revise diagnoses, outcomes, and care plans
  • Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Perform aseptic techniques and maintain infection prevention standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist with procedures and transportation throughout the hospital
  • Lead ancillary personnel, serve as a preceptor, and participate as an active healthcare team member
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, EMR entries, and patient responses
  • Report safety-related incidents and complete mandatory training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NIHSS certification within 30 days of hire
  • RNs hired on or after 7/1/2016 must graduate from a BSN program within 6 years of hire into an RN position
  • Understanding of computers and competence using computers and basic software programs
  • Maintain appropriate clinical competencies for assigned roles
  • Comply with state and federal regulations, company policies, and hospital procedures
