About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage inventory in assigned nursing and/or ancillary units
  • Pick orders using a handheld scanner
  • Use Lawson to identify products
  • Deliver orders to clinical areas
  • Perform cycle counts in assigned areas
  • Participate in the annual year-end physical inventory count
  • Manage product outdates using FIFO and bin rotation
  • Answer emergency phone calls and supply requests
  • Provide information about supplies available in the warehouse
  • Issue and distribute existing inventory
  • Control consumable supplies to reduce obsolescence, outdates, and waste
  • Serve as a liaison for replenishment orders and emergent product requests
  • Maintain timely order records, receiving records, and packing slips
  • Document and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damaged products
  • Teach colleagues standard inventory replenishment procedures
  • Report safety-related incidents through the Midas/RDE tool
  • Attend safety-related training and perform work safely
  • Monitor the work environment for safety issues
  • Complete company-mandated modules and job-specific training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License required
  • 39-month verification of driving record from the Arizona Department of Transportation required
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Understanding of computers and competence in using computers and basic software programs
  • Ability to complete mandatory modules and required job-specific training within the specified time frame
  • Ability to comply with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies
  • Ability to keep required certifications and/or licenses current and valid
