About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand strategies and use analytics to drive decision-making
  • Define and develop analytic capabilities to solve cross-business function challenges
  • Support analytical needs across business functions and enable strategic prioritization
  • Analyze core business processes and data flows to design and develop enduring analytical solutions
  • Report data accurately and insightfully using best-practice techniques
  • Develop and deliver scalable, repeatable analytics solutions using existing Business Intelligence infrastructure
  • Apply metric governance, enterprise solution alignment, and agreed governance and technology policies
  • Follow Agile or SDLC processes
  • Apply and develop statistical models and methods to address business issues
  • Develop metrics and create ad-hoc reports
  • Assist internal customers with operational change management activities
  • Identify, track, report, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues
  • Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • A College or University degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Database systems competence
  • Familiarity with data analysis and/or reporting
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Experience with SQL and Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong team/relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with other analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite, QlikView, Informatica or other tools) preferred
  • Familiarity with relational and dimensional database concepts, querying, data warehouses, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools preferred
  • Prior experience using statistical software or knowledge of various data mining and analytical tools (SSRS, SAS, etc.) preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
