About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up cost control systems and monitor and control contract costs and schedules
- Analyze contracts and prepare reports to ensure compliance with negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
- Perform or assist with funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analyses
- Prepare program plans capturing and scheduling program requirements and statements of work
- Perform schedule risk assessments and identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
- Maintain accurate expenditure records and direct preparation of expenditure projections
- Submit timely requests for additional government funding
- Incorporate contractual changes into control systems
- Track outstanding contract work to maintain realistic cost and schedule baselines
- Support the Triton Program within Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026
- Major in or have majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite
- Able to obtain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time
- Final approved U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access may be required to start
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher preferred
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience preferred
- Leadership and teamwork capabilities preferred
- Interpersonal communication skills and professional/community/extracurricular activities preferred
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
