About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as chief of staff for the Strategic Customer Engagement Team
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across engagements with Department of War services, key industry primes, international customers, and other U.S. government agencies
  • Improve how the team leverages customer and contextual information to drive focused engagements and actionable business outcomes
  • Serve as subject matter expert in enterprise systems of record and digital tools for customer engagement, pipeline planning, and executive communication
  • Ensure strategic customer engagements are planned, executed, and documented in alignment with sector priorities and governance
  • Use, configure, and integrate Salesforce with other systems of record and digital tools
  • Lead development, integration, and application of authoritative information resources, environments, and products for customer engagements
  • Lead Strategic Customer Engagements with external customers and cross-sector NGC stakeholders
  • Partner with information, digital, communications, business development, strategic growth, and operations leaders to develop and operate processes, tools, and capabilities
  • Lead or support analysis, synthesis, and recommendations for RFIs, strategic communications, mission engineering activities, and business cases
  • Mentor and lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer engagement products and outcomes
  • Travel up to 25% of the time may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience in program management, business development, mission engineering, systems analysis, or strategic planning; or 8 years with a Master’s degree
  • Experience with Salesforce and with the application of generative artificial intelligence assistants in a business context
  • Knowledge of DoW customer organizations, requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processes
  • Strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, and strategic thinking with respect to customer needs, competitive positioning, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and technical experts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Experience forming and leading cross-functional teams
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Current TS/SCI clearance (preferred)
  • Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify and qualify new program or campaign opportunities, and develop and implement creative approaches for integrating across opportunities to drive speed and scale (preferred)
