About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and lead business management activities within the Launcher Operating Unit
- Report to the Launcher Operating Unit Business Manager
- Manage program resources, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
- Prepare and present financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasting
- Handle compliance and financial reporting for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF)
- Oversee EVMS with COBRA reporting for internal and external deliverables
- Prepare and review Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC)
- Assist with contract negotiations
- Support pricing and proposal activities
- Review contractual documents, including Technical Task Orders
- Manage subcontractor invoicing and funding
- Collaborate with customers and functional teams
- Manage and develop Program Control Analyst staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional industry related experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of professional industry related experience
- 9 years of applied experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
- Experience in a Program Control Environment, including setting up cost control systems and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems
- Experience in financial planning and analysis
- Experience in pricing and proposal activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP
- Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
- Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time if not based at Sunnyvale campus
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Preferred: MBA certification
- Preferred: Previous experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel
- Preferred: Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts
- Preferred: Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
- Preferred: Experience with Cognos forecasting system
