About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and manage the calibration database for all tools, gauges, and equipment
- Ensure calibration records are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
- Track and manage calibration schedules to keep equipment within required calibration intervals
- Coordinate internal and external calibration activities with vendors and internal teams
- Generate and review calibration reports, certifications, and related documentation
- Identify and follow up on overdue or missing calibration items
- Assist in investigating and documenting calibration discrepancies or nonconformances
- Support internal and external audits by providing calibration records and documentation
- Communicate with departments to ensure timely submission and return of equipment for calibration
- Maintain organized electronic and/or physical records and filing systems
- Travel between Devens, MA, and East Hartford, CT
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
- No clearance required to start
- US Citizenship is a requirement for employment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with databases or ERP systems preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality environment is a plus
- Familiarity with calibration processes or quality systems is preferred but not required
- Ability to travel 50% of the time between facilities in Devens, MA, and East Hartford, CT
- Light to moderate physical exertion required
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
