About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide custom software design and development of specialized tools and techniques
  • Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking into developed tools
  • Provide and author documentation
  • Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews according to Government software development procedures and processes
  • Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments
  • Develop UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
  • Develop embedded or mobile platforms using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments
  • Support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems cyber and national security missions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience, or PhD with 0 years of experience
  • Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance
  • Willing and able to obtain another polygraph
  • Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance
  • Preferred: Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Preferred: Software analysis or reverse engineering
  • Preferred: CNO development concepts, tools and techniques
  • Preferred: Unit testing frameworks and practices
  • Travel: 10% of the time
