About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead workstreams supporting enterprise transformation of program management
Develop processes, tools, training content, guidance documents, standard processes, and templates
Support the program management strategic roadmap
Lead members of the program execution team
Contribute to the Corporate PrOP for program management and the Program Management Framework (PMF)
Support deployment of enterprise-standard program management tools throughout Northrop Grumman programs and special projects
Oversee project milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Identify initiative challenges and work with the team to execute solutions, including RCCA plans, resource allocation, or specification modifications
Establish stakeholder relationships and support engagements with program managers and program activities
Develop models supporting stakeholder requirements and enterprise/sector strategic goals
Travel approximately 10% as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience supporting Department of Defense, Government contracts, or project management in other industries
5+ years of program execution experience, including development and production programs
Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership experience
Understanding of program management principles, including risk and opportunity management and earned value management
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Strong communication and executive presence skills
Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance preferred
Program capture experience preferred
Non-Advocate Review experience preferred
2+ years of experience managing a portfolio of programs or a program with annual sales of over $50M preferred
Training and Development experience preferred
International business experience preferred
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance
