About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Protect classified and proprietary information from external and internal threats
- Conduct counterintelligence and insider threat investigations
- Manage a portfolio within the Northrop Grumman Space Sector counterintelligence and insider threat program
- Develop and implement awareness campaigns across the sector in collaboration with the NGSP Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Manager
- Attend weekly working group meetings in the Quantico, Virginia area
- Travel periodically to NGSP facilities across the sector
- Establish internal and external partnerships
- Review available intelligence sources
- Conduct tailored presentations
- Perform threat and vulnerability analysis
- Develop methods to protect employees and proprietary information during CONUS and OCONUS travel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience OR PhD with 4 years of professional experience
- An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Leadership ability to work independently to represent Northrop Grumman
- 10+ years of counterintelligence and/or insider threat experience preferred
- Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance with SCI access preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team building skills
- Educating and mentoring skills
- Occasional/periodic travel required; travel listed as 10% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
