About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success
Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements
Assess program performance and risk and determine resources to ensure mission assurance
Provide daily supervision and direction to Quality Inspection and NDI staff
Provide objective-oriented direction to team members using management guidelines and general policies that engage the Quality Management System
Interface with program managers, operations, engineering, customers, DCMA, vendors, and subcontractor representatives
Review and approve inspection plans, facility Preventative Corrective Action Boards, lean improvement programs, data reviews, and metrics
Maintain quality and part traceability throughout the product life cycle
Support team training and certifications
Conduct formal and informal reviews throughout the product development and manufacturing life cycle
Implement and oversee a First Article Inspection (FAI) process conforming to AS9103
Investigate problems and assist in disposition of non-conforming hardware
Ensure timely and effective corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS Diploma and at least four years applicable technical experience in mission/quality assurance, supporting systems engineering, systems integration, data analytics, or other related engineering disciplines
Quality/Mission Assurance and/or process knowledge and understanding
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance
Special Program Access (PAR) preferred
Prior work experience in a fast-paced, variable environment preferred
Quality/Mission Assurance and/or Process experience preferred
Good understanding of AS9100, AS9102, and AS9103 preferred
Ability to work well and interface with all departments preferred
