About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities
  • Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules
  • Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and advise program teams on contractual terms and conditions
  • Ensure company proposals are responsive to customer requirements and coordinate internal review and approval
  • Manage proposal fact-finding and conduct customer negotiations with program team support
  • Establish customer relationships to administer, modify, negotiate, and terminate contractual agreements
  • Oversee contract performance, schedules, deliverables, and compliant contractual documentation
  • Monitor contract funding and payments with the program business management team
  • Advise program teams on contractual rights, obligations, and interpretation of terms and conditions
  • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, and other functional groups throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Interface with customer counterparts via email, telephone, and in person
  • Support high-visibility programs, Division and Sector submittals and reviews, and tight deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 4+ years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field; or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or high school diploma with 9+ years of related experience
  • Experience working with proposal development and negotiations
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Prior experience with fixed price and cost type contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, FAR/DFARS, proposals, and/or familiarity with DoD contracting (preferred)
  • Prior experience with commercial contracting and/or the semiconductor industry (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (preferred)
  • Ability to work in-office
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
