About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver Systems Engineering products
  • Perform requirements development, allocation, and verification/validation planning
  • Manage interface definition efforts
  • Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports
  • Support communication with program, functional, and subsystem leads
  • Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts using proper configuration management procedures
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts
  • Coordinate across integrated product teams and with external customers
  • Synthesize stakeholder and team input and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience
  • Active USG Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program access via Program Access Request before employment or within a company-determined reasonable timeframe
  • Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP/PAR access after employment
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language
  • U.S. Citizenship required for positions with government clearance
  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance preferred
  • Active USG Top Secret or higher clearance preferred
  • Experience in Systems Engineering areas including technical planning, system design development, verification and validation, cost/risk management, requirements management, or technical review support preferred
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and system architecture integration preferred
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo preferred
  • Experience with software development preferred
  • Experience with HW/SW integration testing preferred
  • Experience with Agile execution preferred
