About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as primary contact for the facilities department for all space requests
- Coordinate efforts with different teams and stakeholders
- Lead projects involving design concept and implementation
- Create graphic communication documents, scopes of work, material specifications, and floor utilization plans
- Oversee and manage facilities projects and space planning activities
- Serve as liaison between leadership, Business Unit, Program, and other customers
- Support office space planning requests
- Manage space planning responsibilities for multiple buildings and projects
- Coordinate employee moves and update the Archibus system
- Generate monthly reports on space utilization
- Develop fit plans with furniture layouts and power/data requirements
- Coordinate and administer hoteling offices for hybrid employees
- Initiate Purchase Requisitions and track Purchase Orders, submittals, and Change Notices
- Plan, design, and oversee reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of facilities
- Maintain opportunity and risk registers for Capex and Opex projects
- Produce and implement risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans
- Identify tasks requiring special inspection and coordinate with customers and contractors
- Act as primary contact with Sustainability and oversee the Region Sustainability Roadmap
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Space Planning, or Interior Design with 5 years of experience – OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience – OR PhD with 1 year of experience
- No clearance required to start
- Experience in Facilities Planning and construction processes
- Experience in reading and analyzing construction documents
- Experience in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Project, etc.)
- Experience using CAD software
- Experience using real estate asset management and booking software such as Agile Quest and Archibus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
