About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and delegate inspection authority in the field
  • Audit various processes in the field and remotely
  • Review and approve test plans and engineering changes
  • Witness testing and/or integration activities
  • Coordinate nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations
  • Support the RVA CLS contract on the ICBM-Sustainment program within the SDS division

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of related experience, or Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date within 6 years
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with AS9100
  • Understanding of networking tools and protocols
  • AS9100 lead auditor certification
