About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers to provide financial and administrative support and analysis
- Establish Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled
- Assess and maintain objective performance criteria
- Maintain and justify estimates to complete
- Support internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis
- Manage budget baseline and funding analysis
- Conduct cost risk analysis and assessment and prepare visibility reports
- Prepare government cost performance reports
- Review performance measurement variance analysis
- Develop and analyze estimates to complete
- Participate in the standard EVMS rhythm
- Prepare month-end reports
- Review EAC changes and validate their incorporation into the EVMS system
- Maintain major subcontract/GP cost and schedule baselines
- Assist analysts supporting CAMs with WBS alignment, time phasing, earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate-to-complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting
- Support monthly cost and schedule reviews
- Identify pressures and opportunities and develop recovery plans as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 3 years experience in Business Management, finance, accounting, and/or industry related field for Level 3
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and/or industry related field OR Master's degree with 6 years experience in Business Management, finance, accounting, and/or industry related field for Level 4
- Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period
- Experience with business systems such as SAP and Cobra
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS and government cost reporting
- Experience with AOP and LRSP processes preferred
- Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- Ability to work on-site daily in San Diego, El Segundo, or Palmdale, California
- Travel up to 10% of the time
