About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of strategic communications projects, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Ensure stakeholder awareness
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and success measures aligned to business focus areas and priorities
  • Establish project governance, workflows, and processes enabling efficient collaboration across communications and business teams
  • Partner with content and creative teams to coordinate development and production of materials
  • Interact independently with executive leaders and employees at all levels
  • Lead through change in a fast-paced environment
  • Digest complex concepts and communicate them simply and effectively
  • Report to the manager of content and channel strategy
  • Support the Aeronautics Systems strategic communications team at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of large projects
  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and utilizing metrics in Tableau, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for equipment installation in manufacturing environments
  • Experience with presentations to leadership and executives
  • U.S. citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
