About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary manufacturing operations interface to the Program Office and functional organizations
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, test, quality, finance, and mission assurance
- Own operations strategy and execution from proposal through delivery
- Manage cost, schedule, quality, compliance, baselines, EVMS metrics, Estimates at Complete, and business management reporting
- Develop and maintain integrated manufacturing, integration, and test plans
- Coordinate material planning, production scheduling, and factory readiness
- Use manufacturing execution systems and MRP for WBS alignment, demand, and capacity planning
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement recovery plans
- Lead risk and opportunity management, issue resolution, and RCCA activities
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate manufacturing proposal inputs, including BOEs, labor estimates, bid/resource codes, and rates
- Provide status, recommendations, and program updates to leadership, customers, and stakeholders
- Present cost, schedule, technical updates, and action plans to program and functional leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of experience for Principal level, or 8 years for Senior Principal level
- Master’s degree with minimum of 3 years of experience for Principal level, or 6 years for Senior Principal level
- Experience across manufacturing, program management, quality, supply chain, and engineering disciplines
- Experience leading programs/projects or IPT/CAM activities and delivering on cost, schedule, and technical requirements
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing and/or development environments managing complex program execution and cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of manufacturing execution systems such as SAP or Solumina
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Experience managing program execution, including schedule creation, tracking, and adherence
- Strong financial acumen in project/budget management and process control
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security clearance and higher-level program clearance(s)
- Interim Secret clearance required to start
- US citizenship required
- Preferred: PMP certification
- Preferred: experience with EVMS-based cost/schedule management, risk/opportunity management, proposals, executive presentations, and ERP systems
- Preferred: active DoD Secret security clearance
