About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze current inventory effectiveness using statistical analysis
  • Account for changing configurations
  • Apply probability-based analytics to optimize recommendations and maximize key performance indicators
  • Gather required information and work with stakeholders
  • Provide analyses and presentations
  • Develop or integrate system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models, and command-and-control models
  • Simulate real-time operations and develop software/models representing projected system behavior
  • Develop, integrate, and use graphical user interfaces and visualization tools
  • Model operational environments and perform computer-simulation trade studies
  • Recommend alternative architectures
  • Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis
  • Develop and integrate mission concept development, Level of Repair Analysis, spares sensitivity, Operations and Support cost analyses/ROI, and model-based systems engineering
  • Develop and adapt models, methods, and simulations supporting system design, development, and sustainment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of statistical analysis, data analysis, or system modeling experience for the Principal level; or Master's degree and 3 years; or PhD and 1 year
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of statistical analysis, data analysis, or system modeling experience for the Sr Principal level; or Master's degree and 6 years; or PhD and 4 years
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, including extensive formula calculations, pivot tables/charts, and macros
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret and Top Secret clearances
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Current active in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with Special Program Access preferred
  • Experience in statistical modeling preferred
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Experience with Tempo, VMetric, or EDCAS in a professional environment preferred
  • Experience with MAAF or LCOM preferred
  • Experience with data mining techniques preferred
  • Relevant experience in logistics support elements preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance
