About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Disposition and validate data from maintainers
  • Work with responsible engineers to determine root causes of failure modes
  • Work with control centers to update or correct maintainer-entered data
  • Analyze trending failure modes and generate recommendations
  • Collaborate with Product Support functions on wider analyses
  • Lead customer meetings validating corrective action plans
  • Coach the team on root cause analysis and design/software change implementation
  • Drive process improvements and streamlining
  • Work full-time on-site at the assigned facility
  • Travel up to 25% may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Principal level: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience
  • Sr. Principal level: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience
  • Experience in Reliability Engineering
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP PARs after commencement of employment
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams solving complex problems
  • Relevant experience in adjacent logistics support elements, including LSA & Maintenance Planning, ModSim, SEE, PHM, SLO, Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems, Technical Data, Support Hardware, Fleet & Field Support, and Product Support Management
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer preferred
  • Experience using reliability analysis software, Reliasoft preferred
  • Previous U.S. Military experience with operations and/or aircraft maintenance background
  • U.S. Citizenship required for positions with government clearance and certain restricted positions
  • Travel up to 25% may be required
