About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide assistance and guidance for implementing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs)
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense EVMS guidelines
- Focus EVMS support on Major Subcontracts and General Procurement
- Prepare month-end reports
- Develop and review Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports
- Incorporate changes into the EVMS system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
- Assist CAMs with WBS alignment, time phasing, earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate-to-complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis
- Support monthly cost and schedule reviews
- Identify pressures and opportunities and develop recovery plans
- Develop and review material EACs
- Ensure alignment with purchase orders for Major Subcontracts and IWOs
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
- Perform or assist with funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Analyze material data and organize meetings with CAMs to review data
- Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and suppliers
- Influence peers and internal customers, prioritize activities, and lead small teams as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, supply chain, logistics and/or industry related field OR Master's degree
- Active Government Secret clearance or higher, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period
- Demonstrated working knowledge of EVMS with ERP subcontract experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using business systems such as SAP and/or Cobra
- Financial forecasting and/or material accounting experience
- Experience with Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD)
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- On-site daily; no virtual or telecommute working options
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
