About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee multiple programs and projects supporting a sector program or corporate function
- Act as liaison for enterprise activities, services, IT, data, and program security statements of work
- Align digital maturity strategy, proposals, and execution with business requirements
- Interact with corporate, IT, sector division, and program leadership teams
- Lead enterprise activities supporting strategy development, budget, and cost management
- Oversee proposal development, staffing plans, product and service acquisition and delivery, teaming relationships, and communications
- Lead a matrix team
- Provide CIDO leadership to technical teams delivering IT and security solutions
- Chair infrastructure design reviews and change boards
- Manage financial budgets and performance
- Develop and test information systems continuity plans
- Design and price IT solutions for new IT statements of work
- Support crisis management planning and incident recovery
- Represent the Space Sector PMO across multiple Colorado Front Range sites and programs
- Advocate for business unit requirements and concerns to Space Sector and CIDO PMO leadership
- Coordinate with site leadership, managers, and end-user groups to implement and sustain CIDO solutions
- Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate service actions and priorities
- Ensure systems, tools, and environments are available for proposal efforts
- Complete Basis of Estimates for CIDO and Classified Solutions proposals
- Identify systemic technical and service delivery challenges and coordinate solutions
- Develop, present, and obtain approvals for budgets, project plans, and initiatives
- Support end users at remote Colorado Springs locations with IT issues and CIDO-related service needs
- Gather technical requirements, perform build-versus-buy analysis, design infrastructure solutions, and execute projects
- Communicate CIDO events and enterprise initiatives to sites and programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree with 6 years of relevant IT experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant IT experience; OR an Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant IT experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) with 12 years of relevant IT experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
- Minimum of 1 year of people management/leadership, or program management, experience
- Familiarity with technical solutions, infrastructure implementations, process/project documentation, and/or experience as a liaison interfacing with large enterprise organizations
- Current US Government Secret level security clearance required at minimum
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Information Technology
- Preferred: Security+ CE
- Preferred: 8 years of Information Technology experience, including 4 years as an IT Program or Project Manager in a classified environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with Northrop Grumman space business, space government customers, and space program disciplines
- Preferred: Experience developing, deploying, and supporting systems that automate business, quality, and program management processes
- Preferred: Experience with IT project management, including cost, risk, and schedule management
- Preferred: Experience forecasting and managing a large tools portfolio
- Preferred: Broad background in IT infrastructure, business applications, and operations
- Preferred: Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
