About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, configure, implement, and support ongoing projects rolling out new capabilities to enhance business operations
- Work directly with project leaders to understand needs and objectives and collaborate on functional solutions and business process optimizations
- Oversee development, delivery, and sustainment of integrations between NGC Systems including MES, SAP S/4 Service Management, and iMRO
- Support cross-sector, cross-functional technical and business experts and end users in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Sustainment capabilities
- Define and deliver technical solutions to complex problems aligned with enterprise organizational goals and objectives
- Lead interface development and troubleshooting, enhancement development and testing, business process improvements, and regression testing and validation
- Liaise between business users and the development team to convey requirements and processes and develop business solutions
- Provide SAP configuration support and oversee Configuration Management according to established processes and protocols
- Create and maintain formal interface documentation, including functional specifications, workflows, and data maps
- Provide routine status updates, including presentations to executive leadership
- Report to the Sustainment Solutions Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree
- Experience in troubleshooting integration solutions using methodical approaches and techniques
- Broad understanding of ERP technical principles, theories, and concepts
- General knowledge of interrelated disciplines
- Ability to perform work in a virtual environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding of Manufacturing disciplines and Sustainment Execution Systems related to Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul
- Leadership capabilities that drive solutions and execute schedule commitments
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Operations, Computer Technology, or Logistics and Supply Chain
- Familiarity with User Acceptance and/or Business Process Testing
- Experience with Fiori and S4HANA
- 4+ years SAP experience with Configuration
- 4+ years experience writing Functional Specifications
- Experience and expertise in iMRO and Plant Maintenance systems, domain models, and workflows
- Experience and expertise in legacy SAP ERP systems with a general understanding of SAP S/4 Service Management, Plant Maintenance, and iMRO
- Experience in systems architecture development, specifically integration between iMRO, Plant Maintenance, SAP ERP, and MES
- SAP configuration knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of S/4 Service Management and iMRO as it applies to component and aircraft repairs
- Experience leading integration projects/efforts
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
