Requirements

What you’ll need

Software Engineer (level 2): high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field with 0 years of experience
Principal Software Engineer (level 3): high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field with a minimum of 3 years of software development experience
Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD automation
Experience with Helm and Kubernetes
Exposure to or experience with microservices, Swagger, and API definitions
Working knowledge of Agile development processes
Experience with modern IDE tools and testing mechanisms
Hands-on experience developing full-stack web applications
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with small technical teams
Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite
Preferred: experience with Angular, React, TypeScript, Java including Spring Boot, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic, jQuery, Bootstrap, Jira, and GitLab Pipelines
Preferred: experience with relational, graph, or document databases
Preferred: demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management tools such as Git and Bitbucket
Preferred: experience working with Jira and GitLab
Preferred: experience working in an Agile software development environment
Preferred: demonstrated ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
Preferred: experience developing full-stack applications with TypeScript + React
Preferred: experience integrating with Spotify’s Backstage or similar internal developer portals
Preferred: experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
