About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and evolve processes and infrastructure supporting rapid capability maturation and deployment
Integrate development pipelines using automation, test-driven development tools, and continuous integration/test frameworks
Define and implement build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards
Implement software configuration management, code quality, and code coverage through automated testing for CI/CD pipelines
Deliver end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure-management automation as part of an Agile development team
Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools
Create scripts and templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Develop automated continuous integration and continuous delivery systems with development teams
Work with vendors and IT personnel to resolve problems
Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure
Develop custom scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Contribute to information and operational support system design
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with developers

Requirements

What you’ll need

United States Citizenship
Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
Active U.S. Government CI Polygraph at time of application, current and within scope
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master’s; 8 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II certification
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and provisioning technology
Administration experience with Linux or related operating systems
Experience in an Agile software development framework
Experience with at least one preferred qualification
Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM templates, Pulumi, OpenTofu, Kubernetes administration, AWS administration, Flux, Helm, DynamoDB, NATS configuration, Big Bang (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki), or Jenkins/GitLab/Bamboo
