About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and evolve processes and infrastructure to execute programs supporting rapid capability maturation and deployment
Integrate development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools and continuous integration/test frameworks
Define and implement build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards
Ensure software configuration management, code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for CI/CD pipelines
Deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in an Agile development team
Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools
Create scripts and templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Develop automated continuous integration and continuous delivery systems with development teams
Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution
Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure
Develop custom scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Contribute to information and operational support system design
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with developers

Requirements

What you’ll need

United States Citizenship is required
Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
Must have an active U.S. Government CI Polygraph at time of application, current and within scope
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a PhD; or 9 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Must have AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Current Security+ certification
Administration experience with Linux or related operating systems
Experience in an Agile software development framework
Experience with at least 3 of the preferred qualifications
Preferred: Terraform, Kubernetes administration, AWS administration, Flux, Helm, DynamoDB, NATS configuration, Big Bang (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki), Jenkins/GitLab/Bamboo
